The Students First Coalition OPEN SCHOOLS CAR RALLY is open to parents, students, teachers, administrators, doctors, concerned citizens, and anyone who believes students belong back on campus in their classrooms for the betterment academically, spiritually, relationally, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
This Car Rally is a safe yet impactful way to have our voices (and horns) heard. It also reminds us of the many sacrifices students have made, including the car rally graduations for the Class of 2020. Students have been deprioritized during the pandemic, and now it is time to put them first! Open Schools Now!
The Students First Coalition will be holding a press conference during the Car Rally on the steps of the L.A. County Board of Supervisors Executive Office in the Kenneth Hahn Administration Building that faces Temple Street. Let the world hear you! The Car Rally is an important visual for the media to capture for their event coverage.
VERY IMPORTANT: At no point should anyone leave their vehicles during the rally. Nothing is more important than your and other participants’ safety! Please wear face-covering/masks if you are with others outside your household and follow please follow all CDC social distancing, health, and safety protocols.
WEAR YOUR SCHOOL COLORS
If you are a student, teacher, administrator, or employee, we encourage you to dorn your school colors and spirit wear.
DECORATE VEHICLES & MAKE POSTERS
HAVE FUN with creating and decorating your vehicles and making posters! Please remember that all messaging should stay on-point and respectful.
